The firm was founded in 1926 by Giulio Sommaruga.

It was developed and improved following the technical evolution of textile machines, adjusting its production procedures to the increasing quality demands and proposing innovatory technical solutions in the specific sector of beam preparation.

Our continual research in the last 30 years of special materials and surface hardening treatments, together with finishings to reduce friction, ensures us a top position in our production field.

We have also patented automatic devices for the production of crossing (yarns or threads) on loom-beams assembled on sizing and beaming machines.
